I applied to work at Tanaq Support Services while looking for a new job, and a colleague told me she worked there and thought I could contribute. Being a permanent teleworker in an exciting and interesting position (with benefits) while supporting the federal COVID-19 response as a contractor seemed perfect. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity! I’ve been in this job long enough to realize that I like the variety of the projects and the opportunity to learn. I applied for a position with Tanaq Support Services primarily because I thrive working in a remote environment. I have found Tanaq Leadership to be incredibly empathetic. Since working at Tanaq, my desire to grow and gain different experiences has been satisfied. My supervisor takes the time to listen, provide feedback, and discuss with me what my professional growth opportunities look like at Tanaq. My one-year anniversary is at the end of May, and I am still happy that I decided to accept a position with Tanaq.
